Miracle Workers Season One- The World Inspired by “Junk”
For Miracle Workers Season One, we had to create the corporate offices of “Heaven,” specifically “The Dept. of Answered Prayers” office, where Daniel Radcliffe’s character worked.
Because Atlanta lacked the film infrastructure of LA, crews often had to build sets in abandoned factories and warehouses instead of traditional sound stages. While this was usually a disadvantage- for Miracle Workers, the abandoned fiber-optics plant we were located in ended up shaping the entire look and feel of the show.
We scavenged the upstairs for bits and pieces and crafted the set around what we uncovered, which informed “Heaven Inc.’s” retro-futuristic look and feel.
